Corvest Open House and Barbeque

On June 20, Corvest celebrated having its three subsidiaries--Adva-Lite, Toppers and It's All Greek To Me--under the same roof in sunny Largo, Florida. We invited all of our customers from across the country to join us in celebrating the grand opening of our brand new 300,000 square-foot facility. If you weren't able to join us--or if you'd like to relive the fun--you've come to the right place!

Untitled5_2 We started the day off with a ribbon cutting ceremony lead by Corvest's President and CEO, Samuel F. Rossa. In his speech, Sam outlined the benefits of having all three subsidiaries in the same facility. Our customers are now able to reap the benefits of:

More innovative decorating techniques
With more room for additional machinery, we're able to explore more innovative decorating techniques and are able to improve on the quality of our existing techniques.

Reduced Production Times and Increased Customer Satisfaction
Our larger capacity has allowed us to employ more team members. Instead of having three dedicated production teams for each of our subsidiaries, we’re able to have one flexible team. We now have the ability to cross-train our employees, which allows us to flex our resources as needed. This has reduced our production times and has increased customer satisfaction.

Real-Time Inventory Checking Capabilities
A state-of-the-art bar-coded inventory management system allows for better inventory control. This has enabled us to provide our customers will real-time inventory checking capabilities on our new websites. It has also improved work flow and overall operating effectiveness.

Following his speech, Sam welcomed Stan Breckenridge, PPAI's Charmian of the Board, to join him in cutting the ribbon to officially mark the opening of Corvest's new facility.

With the new Corvest headquarters officially open, our guests were able to tour the new building and watch our operation in action (not to mention get some relief from the Florida heat and humidity!). The tours, lead by Jim Kelley (Vice President of Customer Service) and Catherine Pilgrim (Vice President of Sales), gave our customers an inside look at the entire production process, from taking the order in customer service to shipping the decorated products from our warehouse.
